How to use this course?

Hello!

Welcome to the 6th course in this series. We are excited that you are here to learn and grow in your personal learning journey. This course in the series will help you build tactics to become more curious about work.

In an increasingly diverse world of work, curiosity is a key skill to develop deeper relationships with colleagues, leaders, clients and our customers (or the beneficiaries of our efforts).

Having curiosity as a ubiquitous trait enables your mind to constantly seek new information, and experiences. Today, we have unlimited availability of information - more content than we can consume, and everything just a click away. Therefore, the drive to explore and expand is the skill that will enable you to build great products, culture, and solutions.

If you haven’t already done so, please complete Silence, the 5th course in the series. It offers key concepts that we will build on during this course.

Note:

A reminder about the course structure.

The first section in each course tells you where you are in the order, introduces vocabulary that will be useful in navigating the content, and instructions for participants that are working on materials with a group and those that are learning solo.

The second section is the core course materials. This includes a deep dive into the theme or topic, reading, listening and video resources to make sense and see real world implications, and the topic’s connection to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).

The third section provides a solo activity - this is for learners who are on a journey outside of a group or cohort. Solo learners can skip the group activity.

The fourth and final section lays out a group activity, with a facilitator guide for bringing this theme or topic to life through a 45-60 minute facilitated group discussion.
